Each year, league staff incorporates new rules and procedures that have been adopted by the league and incorporates them into the annual CAHL Player Handbook In addition, divisional parity is also a high priority for the CAHL. While the league understands the desire for teams to form based on friendships and convenience, it also has a responsibility to make the games competitive. As a result, the CAHL staff does reserve the right to move players or whole teams into more appropriate skill levels if necessary.
