While the Ice Den Scottsdale was originally built as the official home and training center for the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Team, the facility quickly became more of a community asset, catering to thousands of amateur hockey players, figure skaters and casual users. In 2003, the team constructed the new 17,000 + seat Glendale Arena (now Gila River Arena) where the team now plays their home games. However, many of the Coyotes and visiting team practices are still held at the Ice Den Scottsdale.

For general information and tickets for the Arizona Coyotes, please call (623) 772-3200 or visit their website at

From the South: Take the Loop 101 northbound and exit at the Frank Lloyd Wright/Bell Road exit. Continue straight through the light at Frank Lloyd Wright and proceed one mile to Bell Road. Turn right on Bell Road, and the Ice Den Scottsdale is on the right hand side (look for our Bell Rd. monument sign).

From the West: Take the Loop 101 eastbound to Scottsdale. Exit at the Princess/Pima exit. Stay straight on frontage road to Bell Road. Turn left on Bell Road, and the Ice Den Scottsdale will be on the right.

Following some of our most popular public skating sessions, ASU hockey games and other special events, exiting the Ice Den can be challenging. Please take a moment to review this exit map which indicates alternative ways to better access Bell Rd. and the Loop 101 Freeway from the Ice Den. By heading south out of the Ice Den to Bahia Dr., you have multiple options to head north to Bell Rd. where traffic signals can help you safely gain access to Bell. As always, please drive slowly in and around the Ice Den - children are always present.
