For our valued customes, the Alltel Ice Den offers FREE Wi-Fi service (high speed internet access) at the Ice Den. Simply bring your Wi-Fi compatible laptop to the Ice Den and log on... it's that simple. Surf the web, check your e-mail, and prepare for that next big meeting... all from the comfort and convenience of the Ice Den lobby.

Please note that as a user of our Wi-Fi service, you are responsible for all 'content' including but not limited to information, data, graphics, video, audio and other materials, publicly or privately provided. Subsequently you understand that you are solely responsible as the person providing 'content' either directly or indirectly to others in the facility. ABOUT THE ICE DEN

The Alltel Ice Den, located in north Scottsdale, is a 120,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art ice skating and entertainment center and home to the valley's newest Mountaside Fitness and Peter Piper Pizza locations . Since its opening in June 1998, the Ice Den has revolutionized the ice skating industry in Arizona and has quickly become a community gathering place for many valley residents. Its open-air design and twin NHL regulation surfaces make it a facility uniquely capable of fulfilling the diverse sports and entertainment needs for many Arizona families and businesses.

The Ice Den is a world-class ice facility, playing host to the Coyotes as well as nearly all the other NHL teams for their practice needs. In addition to hockey, the Ice Den also has become the premier skating venue for many national and international figure skating events, shows and competitions. Come see why the Arizona Republic proclaimed the Ice Den the “Best place in the Valley to play hockey.”

In addition to the rinks, the Ice Den offers Coyotes Ice Sports (a full-service hockey and skating pro shop that also features the hottest Coyotes apparel and souvenirs), a 12,500 sq. ft. Mountainside Fitness Platinum Center , a 7,000 sq. ft. Peter Piper Pizza restaurant, an BNC National Bank, and the Chilly Bean Cafe.

And, of course, the Ice Den offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities as well. Daily public skating, beginner to advanced skating programs, youth hockey leagues in the Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association programs, adult hockey programs in the Coyotes Adult Hockey League, private skating instruction, birthday parties, private ice parties and much more!

About The Ice Den

The Alltel Ice Den is a 120,000 sq. ft, state-of-the-art, TWIN ice skating and entertainment facility located in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Ice Den is home to the Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), the Coyotes Adult Hockey League (CAHL) and offers numerous figure skating and Learn-to-Skate classes.

Inside the Ice Den we also feature a Mountainside Fitness Platinum Club, a Peter Piper Pizza restaurant/game room, the corporate headquarters for BrightSpot Media, a BNC National Bank branch, a full-service pro shop, a coffee bar and more!

MAP & DIRECTIONS

The Alltel Ice Den is located at 9375 E. Bell Road. We are 1 mile north of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, just north of Westworld. GOOGLE MAP -

From the South: Take the Loop 101 northbound and exit at the Frank Lloyd Wright/Bell Road exit. Continue straight through the light at Frank Lloyd Wright and proceed one mile to Bell Road. Turn right on Bell Road, and the Ice Den is on the right hand side (look for our Bell Rd. monument sign).

From the West: Take the Loop 101 eastbound to Scottsdale. Exit at the Princess/Pima exit. Stay straight on frontage road to Bell Road. Turn left on Bell Road, and the Ice Den will be on the right.
