May 28 -- CAHA Announces U16A Team for 2008-2009 Season

Barry Harcus has been named the head coach for the Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association's most recent travel program addition. Tryouts for the '92 or '93 age Midget team has been set for Sunday, June 15th from 11:20am-1:30pm at the Ice Den. Please sign up for the team tryouts at Ice Den administration window or at the door one hour prior to the skate. ($30) More information regarding the team will be offered the day of tryouts. The Coyotes Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) and the PF Chang’s Tier I Hockey Program have announced an affiliation agreement for the 2008-2009 hockey season. In addition, PF Chang’s Hockey will add a Bantam U14 Tier I team.

CAHA Announces P.F. Chang's T-1 Hockey & Jr Coyotes Tryout Agreement

Like the 2007 tryouts, CAHA will once again offer deposit refunds for any player who tries out and makes a 2008-2009 Jr Coyotes team and subsequently tries out and makes a PF Chang's Bantam or Midget team later this spring. Under this agreement, players have the ability to solidify a spot on a Jr Coyotes Tier II team and know they can still tryout for a Chang's Tier I team without fear of forfeiting their CAHA deposit if they make a Chang's team.

please provide a copy of the USA Hockey confirmation to the administration office no later than August 1, 2007,otherwise player will be ineligible to play until this form is submitted. USA Hockey will set their fees over the course of the summer. For reference, the 2006-2007 fees were $40.00.

POINTSTREAK

League standings, statistics, rosters and league updates are posted daily and are available online via Pointstreak, the Ice Den’s fully automated scorekeeping system. Read More

Pointstreak is a new, fully automated scorekeeping and stats system that has been recently purchased by the Ice Den. It eliminates the old paper scoresheets as scorekeepers use the Pointstreak touchscreen to track the games. In addition, the system generates pre-printed scoresheets based on the official league rosters approved by the league staff. It also serves as the on-line membership tool. CAHL members simply click on their divisional link and instantly enjoy access to team and divisional schedules, standings, team records, scoring leaders and more.

JR COYOTES TRAVEL COUNCIL

All Jr Coyotes ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams participate in the local Sonoran Youth Hockey League (SYHL). For information regarding this league includes upcoming dates, schedules, standings, etc. please click the The Jr. Coyotes Travel Council is chaired by Vince Burke and consists of one voting member from each Jr. Coyotes team. The purpose of the Travel Council is to manage all the business affairs of the CAHA travel program and ensure consistency throughout. The council meets monthly and encourages active participation through various sub-committee groups. If you would like to participate, please contact Vince Burke.
