Exceller"Skate" Program Information

Exceller“Skate” - skate 2 times a week for 3 weeks! This program is offered in May, June and July for this year. This program is very popular and sells out quickly, so please do not wait to register!

Level A / Pre-Hockey / Parent & Pups / Adult-Teen

• Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3 (ages 4-5)
• Basic 1, 2, 3 and 4 A/B (ages 6 and up)
• Pre-Hockey 1, 2, 3 (ages 4 and up-must be able to skate across the ice unattended in hockey skates)
• Adult/Teen
• Parent & Pups – Thursday 5:45pm-6:30pm time only (drop-in available if class is not sold out, $9 per skater)

• $89.00 (6 classes-includes skate rental)

*If Applicable +$12 Mandatory Annual 2012-13 US Figure Skating Fee (Valid July 1, 2012 – June 30, 2013)
**July ExcellerSkate - All Participants are required to pay +$15.00 mandatory US Figure Skating Fee (Valid July 1, 2013 –June 30, 2014)

• No discounts apply to Ice Cafe program.
• Save $30 when registering for three or more consecutive 2012-13 (Session #1 through #6). Does not apply to ExcellerSkate. Must register for all sessions at one time to receive discount.
• $50 per session for additional parent or child for the Parent and "Pups" class.
• 25% Discount on second class if you register for two or more classes per week (Level A, B, C and Pre-Hockey classes only). Does not apply to ExcellerSkate
• 10% Discount on second or more immediate family members of equal or lesser value.
• Only one discount may apply per person.
• Note: Classes not meeting size requirements may be cancelled or combined. Payment in full is required at time of registration.

No Make-Up classes will be offered. In the event of an absence, two (2) public skating passes will be given. This is a one (1) time compensation per session. Public skating passes have no expiration date.

• Gloves
• Helmets (bicycle helmets are acceptable, aerodynamic models not recommended)
• Warm-up suit
• Light to medium weight socks (1 pair only)
• Long sleeves and long pants
• Mandatory Hockey Helmet with a full cage and hockey skates(rentals OK),(Pre Hockey 1 and 2)
• Mandatory Hockey Helmet with a full cage and hockey skates(rentals OK), hockey gloves and hockey stick for Pre Hockey 3.
• Ice Cafe and Adult/Teen participants: long sleeves, pants , helmet or knit cap and wrist guards.

*Jeans are not recommended as they are restrictive, shorts are not permitted. Skates, helmets, and gloves may be purchased at Coyotes Ice Sports. The Ice Den is not responsible for personal items that may be lost or stolen. Private lockers are available for your protection.

Rink temperature stays at approximately 52° year round.

Refunds, credits or transfers will only be given if requested in writing two (2) weeks prior to the first day of registered class. Refunds, credits or transfers will be granted minus a $10.00 administration fee only in the event of an injury or illness and the request is accompanied by a doctor’s statement within 30 days of illness or injury verifying the nature of the injury or illness. No refunds, credits or transfers will be given to a registrant who leaves of because of their own desire or fails to attend.

These lessons are a great way to help your skater focus and work on skills that are more difficult to achieve and enhances the skills the already know. It also gives the skater a more structured, yet fun, additional practice time.

Lessons are primarily scheduled during our public skating sessions, which are held:

• Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm or Sunday from 1:45-3:45pm.

Lessons need to be scheduled a minimum 7 days in advance.
