Bundle up and enjoy our crisp 53° ice rinks during one of our great public skating sessions! Public skating is a healthy and exciting activity the whole family can enjoy and with convenient sessions scheduled throughout the week, there’s always a good time to stay cool and fit!
For a skating experience you’ll never forget, don’t miss our live DJ and light shows! Teen Request LIVE or TRL (Friday Nights) and Radio Disney Family Night (Saturday Nights) provide a unique skating atmosphere and a set price for all ages. See below for specifics on each program.
RENTAL SKATES
More than 800 pairs of ice hockey and figure skates are available for your skating pleasure. Skate sizes range from toddler size 6 up to adult size 15 however due to skater volume on some sessions, we can not guarantee your exact size will be available. All skaters are encouraged to arrive early to get their skates.
SKATE TRAINERS
To assist some of our younger skaters, the Ice Den provides a limited number of skate trainers for public skating sessions (except the TRL session). Skate trainers can be rented at the Admission Window for $3 and users are required to stay within the designated coned area at the south end of the rink.
GROUP DISCOUNTS
Round up your family, friends, club, church group or office and let us set you up with a special group rate. Group rates are established for groups of 20 or more. Please call (480) 473-5827 for details or to book your session.
FUN-RAISERS
Is your group or organization trying to raise funds? The Ice Den offers a cool way to raise money and have fun at the same time. Its easy… pick a public skating date/time. We provide you with discount skating tickets that you can sell at a profit. Not only will you raise funds, but you will have a blast doing so! For more information, please call 480-473-5827.
PRIVATE ICE FUNCTIONS
When available, the Ice Den rents private sheets of ice for exclusive functions. Private birthday parties, reunions, corporate outings, group events, etc. can have their own ice rink for private skating, broomball, curling and other ice activities. PRIOR TO PUBLIC SKATING
Please remember to have you admission ticket clearly visible at all times as the rink monitors will be checking for proper identification. Regardless of your skill level, there are elements of risk in ice skating. Please familiarize yourself with the posted skater’s responsibility code and the language on your admission ticket. Also remember to use common sense, show courtesy to other and anticipate dangerous situations. If you need help in any way, please ask one of our rink monitors for assistance.
ADVANCED SKATERS
Customer safety is a priority at the Ice Den. In order make our public skating sessions as safe as possible, advanced skaters wanting to practice jumps, spins, leg lifts or other advanced skating techniques are encouraged to attend the 20-30 weekly freestyle skating sessions that are offered to practice these maneuvers.
